  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup (50 g) granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup (75 g) Heath bits, chopped nuts, or chocolate chips (optional topping)
  • 4–5 apples, sliced for dipping

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Hand mixer or spatula
  • shallow serving dish
  • Measuring cups
  • serving plate or platter

Method

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly into a shallow serving dish.
  3. Pour caramel sauce over the cream cheese layer, spreading it gently to cover the surface.
  4. Sprinkle toppings such as Heath bits, nuts, or chocolate chips evenly across the top.
  5. Serve immediately with fresh apple slices for dipping.

Notes

For best flavor, let the cream cheese come to room temperature before mixing. Try topping with chopped pecans, toffee bits, or mini chocolate chips. Serve chilled or at room temperature with freshly sliced apples.
