Chicken
  • 2 pieces chicken breast skinless and boneless
  • 2 tablespoons butter or vegan butter or olive oil
Creamy Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream or coconut milk for dairy-free
  • 3-4 cloves garlic freshly minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika adjust to taste
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes optional
  • 1/2 lemon lemon juice freshly squeezed

  • black pepper to taste
Herbs
  • fresh parsley for garnish
  • fresh dill for garnish

Method

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken for 6–7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Transfer the chicken to a plate, cover with foil, and keep warm.
  4. In the same skillet, add an additional tablespoon of butter if needed. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Stir in the paprika and red pepper flakes.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and lemon juice, whisking until the sauce is smooth.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over the top, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  8. Plate the chicken, drizzle with sauce, and garnish with fresh parsley and dill before serving.

Notes

Serve this creamy chicken with rice, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce. For extra heat, add more red pepper flakes.
