- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, evaporated milk, sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix until smooth and well blended.
- Pour the sweet potato mixture into the pre-made pie crust.
- Smooth the top with a spatula and bake in the preheated oven for 55-60 minutes, or until the filling is set and slightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
Notes
For extra flavor, top with whipped cream or a sprinkle of cinnamon. You can prepare the sweet potatoes a day in advance. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
