Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp large or jumbo, peeled and deveined, pat dry
  • 4 tbsp butter melted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped, for serving
  • 2 pcs lemon wedges for serving

Method

  1. Rinse shrimp under cold water, remove shells, devein if needed, and pat thoroughly dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes until combined.
  3. Toss shrimp in the marinade to coat evenly.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
  5. Arrange shrimp in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet without overcrowding.
  6. Roast for 10–12 minutes, until shrimp are pink, opaque, and the Parmesan coating is golden-brown.

Notes

For even more flavor, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp just before serving. Serve with pasta, rice, vegetables, or crusty bread.
