- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook egg noodles until al dente, drain, and set aside.
- Sauté chopped onion in a skillet until translucent. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Stir in cream of mushroom soup, frozen vegetables, salt, and pepper. Mix in cooked noodles.
- Layer half the mixture in a greased baking dish, sprinkle with half the cheese, add remaining mixture, then top with remaining cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake 25 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 more minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
Swap cream of mushroom with cream of chicken if preferred. Let rest 5 minutes before serving for cleaner slices.
