Ingredients

  • 2 cups Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 16 oz ground beef
  • 0.5 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Mixing spoon
  • Oven

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sauté ground beef, onion, and bell pepper until meat is browned and veggies are softened. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add Worcestershire sauce, cream cheese, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir until cheese is melted and mixture is combined.
  4. Place shredded Monterey Jack cheese in 8 even circles on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake 8–10 minutes until edges brown and cheese forms lace-like rounds.
  5. Let cheese circles cool slightly until pliable. Add filling on each and gently roll into wraps. Let cool to set before serving.

Notes

Use provolone or mozzarella instead of Monterey Jack for a twist. For spicier flavor, add jalapeños or red pepper flakes. Serve warm with a side of sugar-free dipping sauce like ranch or chipotle mayo.
