Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (190g)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter (113g)
  • 2 tbsp sugar (20g)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened (227g)
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk (397g)
  • 1/2 cup key lime juice (120ml)
  • 1 lime, zested (optional)
  • 8 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip, 227g)
  • extra whipped topping and lime slices for garnish

Method
 

  1. Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a medium bowl. Mix until evenly moistened.
  2. Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to firm up.
  4. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually beat in the sweetened condensed milk until well combined.
  5. Stir in the key lime juice and lime zest (if using). Mix until smooth and creamy.
  6. Pour the key lime mixture evenly over the chilled graham cracker crust.
  7. Spread the whipped topping evenly over the key lime layer.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the dessert to set.
  9. Garnish with extra whipped topping and lime slices before serving.

Notes

For the best flavor, use fresh key lime juice. Chill overnight for a firmer texture. You can also make this recipe in individual cups for easy serving.
