Method
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and add chicken. Cook until golden and cooked through, about 5–6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken broth, lemon juice, honey, and Italian seasoning. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over it. Simmer for an additional 3–4 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices before serving.
Notes
For extra depth, deglaze the pan with a splash of white wine before adding broth. You can also add a knob of butter for a richer sauce. Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.
