Ingredients
  

  • 1 box cake mix (any flavor)
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted (1 stick)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 16 oz powdered sugar
  • 1 large egg

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix cake mix, melted butter, and 2 eggs until well blended. Fold in chopped nuts.
  3. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  4. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and 1 egg, mixing until creamy.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter. Swirl gently with a knife to marble.
  6. Bake for 45–50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool completely before cutting and serving.

Notes

Use any cake mix flavor (yellow, chocolate, spice) for variety. Toast the nuts before adding for extra depth. Best served slightly chilled. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days.
