  • Medium mixing bowl
  • Mixing spoon or spatula

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the mashed bananas and melted butter until well combined.
  3. Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring just until incorporated.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of Nutella onto the batter, then use a knife to swirl it gently.
  8. Add the remaining batter on top and repeat the Nutella swirl process.
  9. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. Slice and enjoy your Nutella Swirl Banana Bread!

Notes

Make sure to use very ripe bananas for natural sweetness. For extra indulgence, warm slices slightly before serving so the Nutella softens. This bread keeps well at room temperature for 2–3 days or can be frozen for longer storage.
