Nutella Swirled Banana Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • salt pinch
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Nutella for swirling

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, stir together the melted butter and mashed bananas. Mix in baking soda and salt, then add sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Stir until combined.
  3. Gently stir in the flour until just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Spoon dollops of Nutella over the batter, then top with remaining batter.
  5. Use a knife to gently swirl the Nutella through the batter to create a marbled effect.
  6. Bake for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

If the top browns too quickly, tent loosely with foil during the last 10–15 minutes of baking. Warm Nutella slightly for easier swirling.
