Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken or turkey sausage, shredded cheese, and black pepper.
- Add the baking mix and stir until a sticky dough forms.
- Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and arrange on baking sheets, leaving 1 inch of space between each ball.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until golden brown and firm.
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and mustard to make the dipping sauce.
- Let sausage balls cool for 5 minutes before serving warm with the dip.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder or smoked paprika. These freeze well—just reheat at 350°F for 8–10 minutes.
