Ingredients
  

Sausage Balls
  • 2 cups all-purpose baking mix
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage (chicken or turkey) Pork-free substitute
  • 4 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
Dip
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chicken or turkey sausage, shredded cheese, and black pepper.
  3. Add the baking mix and stir until a sticky dough forms.
  4. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and arrange on baking sheets, leaving 1 inch of space between each ball.
  5. Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until golden brown and firm.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and mustard to make the dipping sauce.
  7. Let sausage balls cool for 5 minutes before serving warm with the dip.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder or smoked paprika. These freeze well—just reheat at 350°F for 8–10 minutes.
