Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for coating)

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Mixing spoon
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • cookie scoop or spoon
  • airtight container for storage

Method

  1. In a large mixing bowl, stir together chopped pecans, brown sugar, graham cracker crumbs, and cinnamon.
  2. Add the corn syrup, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Use your hands or a small cookie scoop to roll the mixture into bite-sized balls.
  4. Coat each ball in powdered sugar for a sweet finish.
  5. Let sit for 10–15 minutes to set, then serve or store.

Notes

Toast the pecans before mixing to deepen their nutty flavor. For extra sweetness, double-coat in powdered sugar once cooled. Add a pinch of salt to balance the sweetness, or drizzle in chocolate for a decadent twist.
