  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Reese’s Pieces candies (plus extra for topping)

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Wooden spoon or spatula
  • 9×9-inch baking dish
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9×9-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter and granulated sugar. Mix until well blended.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract. Stir until fully incorporated.
  4. Fold in the Reese’s Pieces candies, reserving a handful for topping later.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly with a spatula.
  6. Top with the reserved Reese’s Pieces, pressing them gently into the surface.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until edges are golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for about 20 minutes.
  9. Lift out using parchment paper (if used) and cut into bars or squares.

Notes

For an extra indulgent touch, drizzle with melted chocolate after baking. You can also use crunchy peanut butter for added texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
