- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Cook sausage, breaking apart, until fully browned (5–7 minutes). Drain grease.
- Spread thawed hash browns evenly in baking dish. (Optional: sauté first for crispiness.)
- Sprinkle cooked sausage over hash browns. Whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Pour mixture over sausage and potatoes. Top with cheddar cheese.
- Bake 35–40 minutes, until eggs are set and cheese is golden brown.
- Cool 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
