Method
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add shrimp and cook 3–4 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- Pour white wine (or broth) into the skillet, scraping up browned bits. Simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in lemon juice, zest, and heavy cream.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
- Combine cooked pasta, shrimp, and sauce in a baking dish. Mix gently to coat.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until bubbly and lightly golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Use chicken broth instead of wine for an alcohol-free version. Add extra red pepper flakes if you prefer more heat. Broil for 1–2 minutes for a golden, bubbly top.
