- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix mashed sweet potatoes, granulated sugar, eggs, milk, 1/4 cup melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
- Spread the sweet potato mixture evenly into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine pecans, brown sugar, flour, and 1/4 cup melted butter. Mix until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the streusel evenly over the sweet potato layer.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and crisp.
Notes
Make ahead: Prepare the sweet potato layer and topping separately, then refrigerate until ready to bake. Add the streusel just before baking. To make it dairy-free, use plant-based milk and vegan butter.
