Ingredients
Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until fully combined and a soft dough forms.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place them evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet. Slightly flatten each ball with your hand or the back of a spoon.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly golden around the edges. Remove from the oven and allow them to cool completely on a wire rack.
- Once cooled, drizzle caramel sauce over each cookie, spreading gently if needed.
- Melt the milk chocolate chips in the microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each until smooth. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the caramel layer.
- Allow the cookies to set completely before serving. Enjoy your homemade Twix cookies!
Notes
For a neater finish, use a piping bag for both the caramel and chocolate drizzle. Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. For extra flavor, sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt over the caramel before adding chocolate.
